Abstract
Bu çalışma, öğretmenlerin mezun oldukları okulların, tüketici davranışları ve yaşam kaliteleri üzerindeki etkilerini inceleyerek kamu ve özel sektörde görev yapan öğretmenler arasındaki farkları anlamayı hedeflemektedir. Küresel düzeyde üretimin artışı, toplumsal değerlerin maddileşmesi ve tüketim kültürünün yayılması, günümüzde tüketimi yaşamın odak noktasına taşımıştır. Bu bağlamda, tüketici davranışları, bireylerin ekonomik ürünleri ve hizmetleri satın alma ve kullanma kararlarını içeren faaliyetleri içerir. Yaşam standardı ise bireylerin satın aldığı ürünlerin yanı sıra topluca tüketilen mal ve hizmetleri de içerir, bunlar arasında kamusal tesisler ve devletin sağladığı hizmetler de yer almaktadır.
Bu betimsel çalışma, tarama modeli kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, katılımcılara uygulanan anketlerle toplanmış ve analiz edilmiştir. Mersin İli Erdemli İlçesinde görev yapan kamu ve özel sektörde çalışan öğretmenler evreni oluştururken, örneklem 96 öğretmenden seçilmiştir. Örneklem, 2/1 oranında seçilen 64 kamu sektörü ve 32 özel sektörde görev yapan öğretmenden oluşmaktadır

Abstract
This study aims to understand the differences between teachers working in the public and private sectors by examining the effects of the schools teachers graduated from on their consumer behavior and quality of life. The increase in production at the global level, the materialization of social values and the spread of consumer culture have brought consumption to the focal point of life today. In this context, consumer behavior includes activities that involve individuals' decisions to purchase and use economic products and services. The standard of living includes goods and services consumed collectively, as well as products purchased by individuals, including public facilities and services provided by the state.
This descriptive study was conducted using the survey model. Data were collected and analyzed through surveys administered to participants. While teachers working in the public and private sectors working in Erdemli District of Mersin Province constitute the universe, the sample was selected from 96 teachers. The sample consists of 64 teachers working in the public sector and 32 teachers working in the private sector, selected in a ratio of 2/1
