Tarihsel Gelişimi Sürecinde Lojistik ve Türkiye'nin lojistik sektöründeki konumu Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, lojistik sektörünün tarihsel gelişimi ile Türkiye'nin lojistik sektöründeki konumu arasındaki ilişkileri derinlemesine anlamak ve bu bağlamda ortaya çıkan sorunları belirlemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi yöntemi kullanılarak yapılan çalışma, lojistik alanındaki evrimin, küresel ekonomideki değişimlerle nasıl bağlantılı olduğunu ve Türkiye'nin bu evrime nasıl ayak uydurduğunu analiz etmektedir. Günümüz küresel ekonomisinde lojistik, iş dünyasının stratejik bir unsurudur. Küreselleşme, teknolojik gelişmeler ve e-hizmetin yükselmesi gibi faktörler, lojistik süreçlerin karmaşıklığını artırmış ve sektöre daha stratejik bir rol kazandırmıştır. Bu değişimler, maliyet düşüşleri, müşteri hizmetlerinde iyileştirmeler ve uluslararası ticarette daha etkin bir konum alma fırsatları sunmuştur. Ancak, Türkiye'nin lojistik sektörü, global rekabetin gerektirdiği entegrasyon seviyesine tam olarak ulaşamamış ve çoğunlukla taşımacılık odaklı bir yapıya sahip olmuştur. Bu durum, Türkiye'nin lojistik potansiyelini tam anlamıyla değerlendirmesini sınırlayan bir engel oluşturmuştur. Çalışma sonuçları, Türkiye'nin lojistik sektöründe yapısal sorunları çözerek daha etkili bir lojistik altyapı oluşturması gerekliliğini vurgulamaktadır

Abstract
The main aim of this research is to deeply understand the relationships between the historical development of the logistics sector and Turkey's position in the logistics sector and to identify the problems that arise in this context. Using the qualitative research method of document analysis, the study analyzes how the evolution in the field of logistics is connected to global economic changes and how Turkey has adapted to this evolution. In today's global economy, logistics plays a strategic role in the business world. Factors such as globalization, technological developments, and the rise of e-services have increased the complexity of logistics processes and given the sector a more strategic role. These changes have provided opportunities for cost reductions, improvements in customer services, and a more effective position in international trade. However, Turkey's logistics sector has not fully reached the integration level required by global competition and mostly has a transportation-focused structure. This situation poses a limitation to fully exploit Turkey's logistics potential. The results of the study emphasize the necessity for Turkey to address structural issues in the logistics sector and create a more effective logistics infrastructure
