Abstract
Bu araştırma, uzaktan eğitim sürecinde liderlik konusunu ele alan tezlerin incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Böylece alandaki boşlukların ortaya konması hedeflenmiştir. Nitel yöntemlerden doküman incelemesi ile tasarlanan çalışmada, Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nden elde edilen araştırma verileri “uzaktan eğitim”, “uzaktan çalışma” ve “lider” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak taranmıştır. Yapılan tarama süreci Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanında yayınlanan tezlerle, tez başlıklarında aranan anahtar kelimelerle sınırlandırılmıştır. Tezlerin yayın zamanı konusunda bir sınırlama getirilmemiş, ancak ilgili tezlerin 2021-2023 yılları arasında yoğunlaştığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmaya toplam 16 tez dahil edilmiş, ilk olarak 2014 yılında gündeme geldiği, 2014 yılında yapılmış yalnızca 1 tezin bulunduğu, çalışmaların Covid 19 Pandemisi sonrasında 2021 yılında yoğunlaşmaya başladığı dikkat çekmektedir. Bu konuda en çok çalışma 8 tez ile 2022 yılında yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya dahil edilen toplam 16 tezin yalnızca 2 tanesi doktora düzeyinde, 14 tanesi yüksek lisans düzeyindedir. Tezler, en fazla İstanbul’da olmak üzere toplam 9 ilde, 14 üniversitede, en fazla lisansüstü eğitim enstitüleri olmak üzere 5 farklı enstitüde yürütülmüştür. Araştırma yöntemine göre 7 tezin nitel, 8 tezin nicel ve 1 tezin karma yöntemle, en çok öğretmenler olmak üzere 7 farklı katılımcı grubuyla yürütülmüştür. Tezler içeriklerine göre “liderlik stili”, “liderlik” ve “araştırılan değişken” olmak üzere 3 tema ve 19 alt tema belirlenmiştir. En fazla teknoloji liderliği, teknolojik özyeterlilik ve uzaktan eğitime karşı tutum konuları incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, uzaktan eğitim sürecinin pandemi sonrasında yaygınlaşmasıyla birlikte uzaktan çalışma sürecinde liderlik konusu gündeme gelmiş ve yeni bir çalışma alanı olarak önem kazanmıştır. Alandaki çalışma sayısının ve çeşitliliği göz önüne alındığında bu konuda daha fazla çalışma yapılması gerektiği önerilebilir.

Abstract
This research aims to analyse the theses dealing with leadership in distance education process. Thus, it is aimed to reveal the gaps in the field. In the study, which was designed with document analysis from qualitative methods, the research data obtained from the National Thesis Centre were scanned using the keywords "distance education", "distance study" and "leader". The screening process was limited to the theses published in the National Thesis Centre database and the keywords searched in the thesis titles. There was no limitation on the publication time of the theses, but it was determined that the relevant theses were concentrated between 2021-2023. A total of 16 theses were included in the study, it is noteworthy that it first came to the agenda in 2014, there was only 1 thesis published in 2014, and the studies started to intensify in 2021 after the Covid 19 Pandemic. The most studies on this subject were conducted in 2022 with 8 theses. Of the total 16 theses included in the study, only 2 are at the doctoral level and 14 are at the master's level. The theses were conducted in a total of 9 provinces, mostly in Istanbul, in 14 universities, in 5 different institutes, mostly in postgraduate education institutes. According to the research method, 7 theses were conducted with qualitative method, 8 theses with quantitative method and 1 thesis with mixed method, with 7 different participant groups, mostly teachers. According to the content of the theses, 3 themes and 19 sub-themes were determined as "leadership style", "leadership" and "researched variable". Technology leadership, technological self-efficacy and attitudes towards distance education were analysed the most. In conclusion, with the spread of the distance education process after the pandemic, the issue of leadership in the distance education process has come to the agenda and gained importance as a new field of study. Considering the number and diversity of studies in the field, it can be suggested that more studies should be conducted on this subject.
