Author Responsibilities and Ethics Rules


AUTHOR RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Authors should take collective responsibility for the content of their studies and publications that they upload to the journal system and wish to publish. Therefore, researchers should carefully check their publications at every stage, especially to ensure that methods and findings are reported accurately and that they are careful about citing sources.

2. They must act responsibly regarding the necessity of obtaining an ethics committee report in studies such as research, interviews and surveys conducted regarding the article study and follow all relevant legislation.

Honesty

1. In their studies submitted for publication, researchers must present their findings and conclusions honestly and without inappropriate data manipulation. Research findings and images should never be altered in a misleading way.

2. Authors must immediately notify the journal editorship when they discover any errors in the articles they have uploaded to the journal system, from the acceptance phase to the publication phase and even after publication. In this case, he/she should cooperate with the editors to make corrections or retractions when necessary.

3. If researchers have conducted applied studies, they should try to describe the methods they used and present their findings as simply and clearly as possible. Sufficient detail must be provided to enable the studies they wish to publish to be repeated by other researchers in the future.

4. Authors must correctly include references and quotations of other people's works that they use in their own works. They should not copy references from other publications if they have not read the cited work.

Transparency

1. All authors involved in the work must agree and approve to be published and list the published versions of the work. Any changes in author order or removal from the author list must be approved by all authors. Therefore, the author who uploads an article to the journal system should act as the contact point between the editor and other authors and assume the responsibility of informing other authors.

Originality

1. Authors must comply with publication requirements that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere or in any language.

2. Applicable copyright laws and conventions must be followed. Copyright material (e.g. tables, figures or comprehensive proposals) should only be reproduced with appropriate permission and approval.

3. Both previous research and the authors' own work and publications should be accurately acknowledged and referenced. Basic literature should be used as much as possible.

4. Authors should inform editors whether the findings have been previously published and whether they have been submitted for publication elsewhere.

Accountability and Responsibility

1. All authors should read and become familiar with the reported studies and ensure that publications follow the principles in this guide. In most cases, authors are expected to take joint responsibility for the integrity and reporting of the research. However, if authors only take responsibility for certain aspects of the research and their reporting, this should be stated in the publication.

2. If errors or omissions are discovered after publication, authors should work with the editor or publisher to promptly correct their work.

Publication Ethics

QMX Journal requires all authors to comply with the ethical standards prescribed by COPE, which takes privacy issues seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Plagiarism Policy

All studies submitted to the journal system for publication must pass a similarity (plagiarism) scan. It is the author's responsibility to obtain the plagiarism report and confirm that there is no harm in publishing the work, and the work must be reported by Turnitin, CrossCheck by iThenticate or intihal.net. Studies for which the similarity report is received must be uploaded to the journal system together with the article or sent to the journal e-mail address.

Copyright

Copyright aims to protect the specific ways in which the article is written to describe in detail a scientific study. It is deemed necessary to protect the rights of the author and to arrange permissions for the reprinting or use of published research for other purposes. The copyrights of works accepted for publication are deemed to be transferred to QMX Journal.

Open Access Policy

QMX Journal is an open access journal, meaning that all content is freely available at no cost to the user or their institution. Without prior permission from the publisher or author, users may read, download, copy, print, search, link to, or use the full text of articles for other lawful purposes.
