Abstract
Bu çalışma, modernleşmenin Türk aile yapısı üzerinde nasıl bir değişikliğe yol açtığını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Ailenin her toplumda olduğu gibi Türk toplumunda da temel yapı taşı görevini gördüğünü kabul ederek yapılan çalışmamızda, aile yapısı üzerinde oluşan değişimlerin Türk toplumu üzerinde de değişimlere yol açtığı görülmüştür.
Aile yapısında yaşanılan değişimin en önemli nedeni; kadınların sosyo-ekonomik hayattaki konumunun değişmesi olarak tespit edilmiştir. Bunun yanında sanayileşme ile beraberinde yaşanılan göç ve kentleşme, teknolojik değişimler de Türk aile yapısında değişime yol açan temel etkenlerdendir. Yaşanılan en temel değişimin Türk ailesinin geleneksel kalabalık aile tipinden çekirdek aile yapısına dönüşmesi olarak görülmüştür. Ancak bu ve benzeri değişimelerin muhafazakar ailelerde daha az yaşandığı da araştırmamızda tespit edilmişitr.
Türk aile yapısı için tehdit oluşturacak asıl unsurun LGBT’nin giderek yayılmasıdır. Diğer yaşanılan değişimler Türk aile yapısına çeşitlilik ve zenginlik katarken LGBT’nin, her bireyin kendi cinsi yönelimini keşfederek kendi cinsiyetini seçmesi anlayışının aile yapısını temelden tehdit eden bir unsur olarak görülmesi gerekmektedir

Abstract
This study has been carried out to determine how modernization has led to changes in the Turkish family structure. In our study, which was carried out by accepting that the family serves as the basic building block in Turkish society as in every society, it was seen that the changes in the family structure led to changes in Turkish society.
The most important reason for the change in the family structure is the change in the position of women in socio-economic life. In addition, migration, urbanization and technological changes experienced with industrialization are among the main factors leading to changes in the Turkish family structure. The most fundamental change is the transformation of the Turkish family from the traditional crowded family type into a nuclear family structure. However, it was also determined in our research that these kinds of changes are experienced less in conservative families.
The main threat to the Turkish family structure is the spread of LGBT. While other changes have added diversity and richness to the Turkish family structure, LGBT's understanding of each individual discovering their own sexual orientation and choosing their own gender should be seen as a fundamental threat to the family structure.
