Abstract
Çocuklarla portfolyonun içeriği hakkında periyodik olarak konuşmak, öğretmene ve çocuğa portfolyonun tamamına aşina olma fırsatı verir. Bu toplantılarda çocuğun ilgi alanları tartışılır, beceri ve yeterlilikleri geliştirilir, ilerleme övülerek özgüven güçlendirilir ve çocuğun özsaygıyı öğrenmesine yardımcı olunur. Öğretmenin öğrenciyle görüşmesine benzer şekilde portfolyonun içeriği hakkında aileyle görüşme, ailelere çocuğun evdeki aktivitelerini, pekiştirilmesi gereken beceri ve davranışları fark etme fırsatı verirken aynı zamanda görüşlerin tartışılmasına da olanak sağlar.

Abstract
Periodically talking to children about the contents of the portfolio gives the teacher and the child the opportunity to become familiar with the entire portfolio. In these meetings, the child's interests are discussed, skills and competencies are developed, progress is praised, self-confidence is strengthened, and the child is helped to learn self-esteem. Similar to the teacher meeting with the student, meeting with the family about the content of the portfolio gives families the opportunity to notice the child's activities at home and the skills and behaviors that need to be reinforced, while also allowing for discussion of opinions.
